C/C++ Control Systems Engineer and Programmer (w/m/d) in Augsburg

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to support in the position as C/C++ control systems engineer and programmer (f/m/d). Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Collaboratively develop and refine rocket control algorithms in Simulink
  • Work with ASTOS to model and analyse orbital trajectories
  • Drive the implementation of control algorithms in C/C++ on a real-time Linux platform
  • Custom integration and interfacing with external hardware using standard serial buses
  • Synthesize various sensors and inputs and serialize of telemetry streams
  • Develop and refine a suitable inertial navigation system
  • Support iterative hardware and software in loop testing and qualification

Ihr Profil:

  • Degree in engineering and/or related discipline. A higher degree is considered advantageous
  • 5+ years of work experience in C/C++ in an aerospace or mechatronics environment
  • Professional experience and a deep personal interest in rocketry, orbital mechanics and orbital trajectories
  • An understanding of control system algorithms coded in C/C++
  • Experience with PID controllers, Kalman filters and TCP/IP and UDP communication in Linux
  • Functional knowledge of networking and the OSI model
  • Inquisitiveness, the ability to learn quickly and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong lateral thinking skills and the ability to solve problems independently
  • Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
